Freed of London have recently launched our exclusive branded T-shirts, and our lovely associate and pointe shoe fitter Julia was kind enough to model them for us last month! We were ecstatic about the photos as well as how great the T-shirt looked, and so we took the time to sit down with Julia and ask her a few questions so you can get to know her a little bit better.
How long have you worked for Freed of London?
Julia: I started working at Freed 6 and a half years ago.
What is your role here at Freed?
What is your dance history?
Julia: I started dancing just before I was 3, then joined the Professional Dance Conservatoire of Barcelona School at 13, and then graduated at the Royal Ballet School of Flanders.
What dance related activities are you involved in at the moment?
Julia: I am currently a dance teacher and teach mainly Ballet and have started an inclusive dance project aiming to provide adapted Ballet classes to people with reduced mobility, with a view to making Ballet accessible for everyone.
Do you enjoy working with the makers? Which maker is your favourite?
Julia: I don’t really have any relationship with the makers as we work in separate departments! My favourite maker is crown.
What is your favourite thing about the new Freed of London T-shirts?
Julia: The new T-Shirts are lovely, soft and most importantly eco-friendly!
We hope you have enjoyed getting to know a little more about our team, and if you would like to browse our new T-shirt range then head over to our Covent Garden shop or online store now!
